Our platform has enabled students of surgery to come together and educate each other. S.E.N facilitates the exchange of information by enabling users to provide educational content. The content stimulates members to join discussions, respond to blogs, start forums, add videos etc.
As members interpret content and add their own individual content, the entire community has the opportunity to learn. We all share a desire to continue our surgical education at any level. We believe that medical education can be transformed using web-based and mobile technology.
We have utilized the cases on the network and incorporated them into an app to further enhance mobile learning. These are high yield real cases presented in a concise manner. We believe when presented in such a format retention of the information improves. In addition, may such apps do not have the images in addition to the pertitent case questions.
There is always room for more cases and as S.E.N grows we will continue to update the app with more relevant cases.
